CO2 Market Specialist
Job description • Analyze CO2 emissions data from waste-to-energy processes and develop reports for internal and regulatory purposes • Stay informed about the latest trends and regulations in the carbon market, including carbon pricing, trading, and compliance policies • Collaborate with engineering and operational teams to identify and implement strategies that reduce CO2 emissions and enhance carbon capture opportunities in the waste-to-energy process • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the carbon market, including regulatory bodies, organizations, and industry groups • Evaluate opportunities for carbon credit generation and develop proposals for participation in relevant carbon trading schemes • Prepare documentation and ensure compliance for carbon credit applications and reporting • Provide training and resources to internal teams on carbon market dynamics and sustainability initiatives
Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
